Always growing?

We at Harrisburg Area Community College are currently working on a project which consists of determining a business need or proposal, developing the idea, and recognizing whether a market would be available for the need.

The group I belong to came to a decision that an extended hours daycare possibly even open on Saturday mornings/afternoons would be an excellent idea to allow parents to either have a larger selection in job market through evening hours, attend evening classes at school, or possibly even just enjoy the occasional evening out.

This poll we have established is to help us recognize whether this would be a great idea for current day care providers. Thank you for your involvement it is much appreciated.

NEW YORK — Actor Heath Ledger was found dead Tuesday at a downtown Manhattan residence in what authorities say is a possible drug-related death, the NYPD said. He was 28.

NYPD spokesman said that Ledger had an appointment for a massage at the Manhattan apartment that is believed to be his home. The housekeeper who went to let Ledger know the masseuse was there, and found him dead at 3:26 p.m, Browne said.

The Australian-born actor was an Oscar nominee for his role in "Brokeback Mountain" and has numerous other screen credits.

My co-worker just called her mother to see how she can make a baby plant.

Pothos (Epipremnum) One of the easiest houseplants to grow; almost impossible to kill. Trailing plants that just keep on growing, 10+ feet. Pruning the plants will keep them fuller at the base and each cutting can be rooted in water to create more plants. Pothos like to dry out between waterings, but if left dry too long, leaves with wilt and eventually dry and fall. Very tolerant of all types of light conditions, even artificial office lights. You can let them trail down or secure them to a support or trellis. There are many variegated and golden varieties available. (USDA Zones 11+)

I think school is finally over for the elementary brats. I did not see the crossing guards talking on their cell-phones whilst ignoring the kids on the busy street this morning.

I had a supervisor dispute an evaluation by saying the difference between 5 days and 10 days is the same as calling a rose crimson instead of red.

I really do appreciate the well wishes. I don't think they will be very productive at this point... The treatments have bought her a little time and I am thankful for that. She is starting to have a lot of pain though, and no one wants to see that.

She was able to take part in some experimental treatments that were not very successful, and there are very few options for treatment because of her pre-existing blood disorder. It's just hard for everyone to take because my mother and father and my mother's parents are relatively young (My mom turned 50 this year and my grandfather 70.) You kindof just expect them to stay around...

Well my mom has not called or returned calls in about 2 weeks, which is unusual for her. She called me last night because she had to take my grandmother back to her cancer doctor for the results of her latest tests.

They have to start treatment again, the cancer is growing again. She was doing better around Christmas and the cancer had stopped growing and had shrunk a little as a result of the last round of chemotherapy. She was on Radiation between then and now to try to keep it in check.

My mother is most upset because the list of possible treatments has gotten very small because of the type of cancer combined with her other complications. Those seem to keep her out of any good drug trials, she is eligible for a few phase one trials, but the outlook for those is not very good. I guess they will be talking and will make a decision shortly.
